The Safe Quality Food (SQF) Program is a Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) recognized food safety certification covering all stages of the food supply chain through industry-specific codes ranging from primary production through to food manufacturing, distribution, food packaging and retail.

ISO 15189:2012 can be used by medical laboratories in developing their quality management systems and assessing their own competence. It can also be used for confirming or recognizing the competence of medical laboratories by laboratory customers, regulating authorities and accreditation bodies.

SQF is a certification standard for processes and products, which consists in an integrated food quality and safety system, designed for organizations to demonstrate their compliance of food-safety requirements. SQF Food Safety and Quality Codes

The SQF Program is a leading food safety and quality certification system that is recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). The program was designed to meet the needs of suppliers and buyers, to ensure their compliance with food safety regulations in both domestic and global markets at all stages of the supply chain.

The SQF Program is comprised of two codes: SQF 1000 and SQF 2000. Both codes were designed recognizing that risk management can be applied to all products, but that all processes do not lend themselves to a complete HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) system. Therefore, SQF 1000 is based on the principles of HACCP, whereas SQF 2000 is a complete HACCP system.
